The user is acknowledging and agreeing to be legally bound by the terms of use of Certification for Laravel by the continued use and or registration to the website. All materials and information are protected by applicable Copyright and Trademark laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

BitterBrains Inc. (hereby referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the Certification for Laravel program (hereby referred to as the “Service” or “Certification for Laravel program”).

Use of License

Users have permission to access the learning materials, as long as they comply with the Copyright and Terms of Use policies. This material is for personal use only and the user may not modify, copy or use any material for any commercial purpose; infringe on copyright laws or try to pass this material as their own.

The right to the use of Certification for Laravel program materials will end if we find that the user has violated any of these rules and restrictions.

Certification for Laravel program does not provide any expressed or implied warranties and explicitly denies any other warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other rights violations. Limitations

Certification for Laravel program is not responsible or liable for issues relating to the internet bandwidth of the user, or any issues on the user’s end. The user is liable for their own ability to process and use the materials uploaded and complete the examinations.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Revisions and Errata

The materials on this website may include technical, and visual mistakes (or typos). We do our best to have the materials proofed and mistake-free but if you see any mistakes, please let us know and we will do our best to correct them!

Third-party websites are not reviewed by us and have their own Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, as well as their own content which is not endorsed by Certification for Laravel program. The use of third-party sites is at the user’s own discretion.

Content Posted by Others

Certification for Laravel program is not liable for any content submitted by a third party that is not affiliated with us. As such, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that you may incur as a result of any content posted by another user or member, either directly or indirectly.

Feedback Terms

We value user feedback and welcome suggestions for our services. However, by submitting your feedback to us, you grant us the right to use, reproduce, alter, distribute, make available, and publicly display such feedback and/or suggestions without restriction or compensation.

Participation in our Online Communities

Certification for Laravel program believes in protecting the freedom of speech and expression of our users and we encourage positive contributions.

To ensure that both instructors and users feel comfortable and safe while using our Service, this policy was designed for users to understand and follow the rules when participating in the online community or otherwise using the Service.

The Service does not allow comments that are defamatory, offensive, profane, discriminatory, misleading, unlawful, or threatening.

We reserve the right to edit or remove content if we have reason to believe that it violates our Online Community Guidelines.

Terms of Use Updates

In addition to the Privacy Policy, these Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time. The most recent (19th of April, 2024) update can be seen at the start of this document. Please remember to regularly check the Terms and Conditions for any changes that may apply.

Governing Law

Certification for Laravel program through BitterBrains is registered in the United States of America (Delaware). However, these terms have been updated to be compliant with the GDPR regulations for users in the European Union.

Refund Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with our services, let us know within the first 14 days after your payment by contacting team@certificates.dev. In this case, we will refund your payment in full using the original payment method.

Note: You are not eligible for a refund in the event that you fail the exam and/or the exam re-take. We encourage you to only opt-in to complete the exam once you have covered the preparation guide provided.

Refunds for Certificates

You are eligible for a full refund if you let us know within 14 days of making your first purchase that you are not satisfied with our services by contacting team@certificates.dev.

Note: Refunds are not available after you have taken the exam, even if this takes place within the 14-day period.

If you do not earn your certificate within 3 years of registering for the certification, your exam voucher will expire, and you will need to pay an additional examination fee to re-enroll for the examination to complete and earn your certificate.

Exam Retake Policy

Payment for the examination re-take fee is required each time you take the exam.
There are no limits to the number of times that you can retake the exam.
Examination vouchers are valid for a period of 3 years.

Prohibited Exam Behavior

Providing false identification
Providing invalid payment
Providing or accepting improper Exam assistance
Copying Exam content in any format
Sharing content included in the Exam
Cheating during the Exam
In addition, it should be noted that legal action may be taken against individuals who are found to have engaged in any of the aforementioned Prohibited Exam Behaviours, and their account will be permanently locked with no exceptions.
